Can a real journal guarantee publication?

No. Credible journals never promise acceptance before peer review is complete, the outcome genuinely isn't known until reviewers have assessed the work.

Is guaranteed publication always a scam?

In practice, yes. Any offer of guaranteed or near-instant acceptance is a hallmark of predatory publishing, not a legitimate service.

How can I check if a journal is predatory?

Run it through Think.Check.Submit, verify its DOAJ and COPE status directly, confirm its indexing on the Scopus Source List or Web of Science Master Journal List, and search the editorial board's names individually.

What is journal hijacking?

A fraud where scammers clone a real journal's website, ISSN, and branding to collect submissions and fees under a stolen identity, often with a URL differing from the genuine site by just one character.

What should I do if I already submitted to a scam journal?

Try to withdraw the paper before publication. If it's already published, don't reuse the content elsewhere, and consult your institution's research office.

Can I pay for a guarantee that my paper gets published?

No. Acceptance is decided by a journal's independent editors and peer reviewers. Premier Dissertations offers expert manuscript preparation instead, which gives your work the best genuine chance without promising an outcome nobody can control.
