Proteins like S protein (spike), E protein (envelope), M protein (membrane), and N protein (nucleocapsid) are structural proteins. Because of its antigenicity and highly conserved structure, the N protein is a good candidate for vaccination. It can also induce strong antibody production and it can trigger cytokine reaction. M protein is also a suitable target because it has a role in virions and with the help of S protein it can make interaction with the genomic RNA.
